This week, Ellumen representatives had the honor of participating in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in remembrance of those who served our country.
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier represents unidentified American military members who gave their lives in service to the country, as well as the broader commitment to remember those who served and sacrificed.
Much of Ellumen’s work supports federal agencies, service members, veterans, and the people who serve them. This ceremony creates a moment to reflect on the human purpose behind that work and provides a reminder to reflect and say thank you. We are honored to have spent over two decades alongside the military and federal communities.
Our group included Ellumen’s Chief Executive Officer Art Carroll, Director of Communications Mary Carroll, Service Desk Manager Jason Houchins, and Jason’s wife, Susan. Both Jason and Susan are Navy veterans with over 20 years of collective service.
We are grateful for the opportunity to take part in this solemn tradition and to pause in remembrance of those who gave their lives in service to our country. It was a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices made by generations of service members and of the importance of continuing to honor their service, their families, and their legacy.
